How much is a LiveScan fingerprinting appointment?
Florida Training Academy charges a flat $95 fee for LiveScan appointments. Specialty services such as fingerprint cards, mobile fingerprinting, notary services or FBI Departmental Orders may have separate pricing.
How long does LiveScan fingerprinting take?
Most fingerprint capture appointments can be completed in approximately 10–15 minutes once your appointment begins.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended so you can reserve your preferred time. Fingerprinting hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
What is an ORI number?
An ORI, or Originating Agency Identifier, tells the fingerprinting system which authorized agency or screening purpose is associated with your submission. Your employer, licensing board or requesting agency should provide the correct ORI.
What if I do not know my ORI number?
Use our Florida ORI Numbers by Agency guide or contact the employer, board or agency requesting your background screening. The applicant is responsible for confirming the correct code before submission.
How soon will the agency receive my results?
Processing time is controlled by the receiving agencies and can vary. Florida Training Academy electronically submits supported LiveScan transactions, but FDLE, FBI, AHCA and other agencies determine final processing time.
Do you offer mobile fingerprinting?
Mobile and onsite fingerprinting may be available for organizations and groups. Additional fees apply. Contact Florida Training Academy for availability and a quote.

Applicants are responsible for providing and confirming the correct ORI, OCA, agency code and screening purpose before submission. Processing times are determined by FDLE, FBI, AHCA and other receiving agencies. Specialty fingerprinting and mobile services may have separate fees.
