Our All-in-One-Day AHA BLS Instructor Course is designed for prepared candidates who want to complete instructor training and the required monitoring during one trip to Jacksonville.
This is especially helpful for candidates traveling from outside the Jacksonville area.

- The current AHA BLS Provider/Student Manual or eBook
- Completion of the AHA BLS Instructor Essentials online course
- Your Instructor Essentials completion certificate
- Any additional paperwork requested before your class date
- Preparation to teach and demonstrate BLS skills during monitoring

Attend and monitor

Ongoing instructor services
Support for new and affiliated instructors
Instructor needs continue after the initial course. We offer options for qualified instructors who remain affiliated with our training organization.
Virtual instructor renewals
Virtual renewal options may be available for eligible affiliated instructors who have current documentation, required updates and the appropriate equipment.
Virtual monitoring sessions
Eligible affiliated instructors may complete certain monitoring sessions virtually when approved and when video, equipment and course requirements can be verified.
Transfers and secondary alignment
Current instructors seeking transfer or secondary alignment should contact us for the applicable review, monitoring, documentation and fee requirements.
Important: Virtual renewal or monitoring is not automatic. Eligibility depends on affiliation status, instructor discipline, documentation, equipment, technology and current program requirements.

Can I complete the AHA BLS Instructor Course and monitoring in one day?
Yes. Florida Training Academy offers an All-in-One-Day AHA BLS Instructor Course for prepared candidates. The instructor course and monitoring are completed during one scheduled visit. All prerequisites must be completed before class.
What must I complete before the BLS Instructor Course?
You must have a current AHA BLS Provider card, complete the AHA BLS Instructor Essentials online course, obtain the current instructor and provider/student manuals or eBooks, and submit any requested documentation.
Are the books and online Instructor Essentials course included?
No, not unless the registration description specifically says otherwise. Candidates are generally responsible for purchasing the required current manuals or eBooks and completing the appropriate AHA Online Instructor Essentials course.
Will Florida Training Academy align me after the course?
Florida Training Academy aligns the instructors we train after the applicable training, monitoring, documentation and program requirements have been successfully completed.
Can instructor renewal or monitoring be completed virtually?
Virtual instructor renewals and monitoring sessions may be available for eligible affiliated instructors. Approval depends on the discipline, affiliation, documentation, equipment, technology and current requirements.
Can you travel to train our instructor candidates?
Possibly. Onsite instructor training may be available for groups of five or more qualified candidates. Travel fees and other logistical costs may apply. Contact us with your location, discipline, headcount and preferred dates.
How long are ACLS and PALS Instructor Courses?
ACLS and PALS Instructor Courses are scheduled by customer request and generally require two to three days to complete the instructor course and monitoring. The final timeline depends on scheduling, program requirements and the instructor candidate’s experience level.
Do ACLS and PALS instructor candidates need provider cards?
